The breed is prone to certain health issues that should be monitored. They can develop hip dysplasia, deafness, eye problems, and cancer. If you intend to breed your pet, the female will most likely have to deliver via cesarean section. Their unique body type is not conducive to natural birth.

These are short haired animals that do not need a lot of grooming. They need to be bathed if they have gotten into something dirty or smelly. Most bulldogs have bad breath, so oral hygiene is important for them. The deep folds in their faces have to be kept washed and dried to avoid bacterial infections.

Owning a pet of any kind can be a lot of fun and a great addition to the family dynamic. Knowing the type of animal that will suit your lifestyle is important because it may be with you for a long time.
