This is Ms. Merrill, our Siamese cat in 2004 when she was in between two and 3 years old.
Merrill came from a Siamese rescue organization. She was a breeder's cat who did not breed and was almost certainly mistreated, based on her skittish nature and shyness.
All of that is behind her now and even though she has a chronic illness, she does very nicely and is the undisputed head of our household.
