apparently he's a cat freak (in the best possible way).

father to two maine-coon's named Moose and Junior, mr. rouse has developed quite the reputation around D.C. as the capital cat guy. 

some politicians receive money, fancy dinners or vacation packages, but, this guy could be greased with a few cat-shaped cookies.
