The miniature groodles weigh 15 to 35 pounds while the height at the shoulders ranges between 13 and 20 inches when the dog has matured fully. The standards groodle stands 17-20 inches tall at the shoulders and has a weight of 40-50 pounds. Lastly, the large variety reaches a height of 20-24 inches at the shoulders and weighs between 50-90 pounds.

When compared to other poodle mixes, groodles have become popular at a higher rate. This can be attributed to the fact that they have good personality traits. Their nature includes being accepting, intelligent, and friendly. They are a perfect family pet and companion because they are very affectionate. Proper training makes them to enjoy human company a lot. They tend to be playful and mischievous when in good mood.

Various factors affect temperament including socialization, heredity, and training. They need constant human company to develop good traits because they tend to become mischievous when left along for most of the time. The coexist nicely with other pets and breeds as well as children. They should be exercised moderately and they have low-maintenance coats.

Generally, goldendoodles have good health. In comparison to their original parents, they live longer and are affected by less health problems. They are only affected by genetic health problems that also affect both the golden retriever and the poodle. Some of the health concerns to watch out for are HCD, patella and elbow disorder, and PRA.
