The Significance Of Dogs And Their Training

By David Reynolds

Do you ever wonder what it feels like to have a pet that is good enough to be your best friend? Dogs can provide you that for their loyalty is incomparable. Almost everyone adores dogs especially puppies. You cannot just ignore them. Labrador, Golden Retriever, German Sheppard and many more are so hard not to resist whenever they nuzzle on you. But those creatures can also be stubborn. That is why a proper Dog Training GA is needed for them.

Old dogs learn new tricks. If you mean it literally then screw that. Those creatures are never too late to train no matter what their age is. But why do you need to train them? Why can you just let them act freely whatever they want? Okay so you want that, then do not complain if your favorite Gucci shoes got tattered. Those animals need to be trained so that they could behave properly.

Having a dog can give you some benefits in life that probably you ignore because you are too busy or too passive to mind those things. A study had proved that having a canine as your companion can reduce your cholesterol and your blood pressure. That news is really great so why not adopt some canines now and gain that benefit?

Basically, they can make you physically active and fit. Just walking them outside your house while they try to find some places for them to pee or poop is already a good exercise for your body. There is also a chance that your body weight will decrease so instead of spending money on going to gyms, why not accompany your pet instead?

Petting those dogs can also diminish the level of your stress. So when your mood is somehow lonely, you can try playing with your pet. They can serve as a good guard of your property also. So when a burglar comes inside, the animal will threaten that burglar with its mighty and intimidating barks.

But mind you that sometimes they can be dangerous. Especially their bites. Dogs that are not vaccinated can have rabies which is a disease that can harm a person when inflicted from an infected animal. If your dog is not properly trained, it might go berserk when some unfamiliar guest barged in into your house.

Training your pets can be tiring and it takes patience and endurance to train them. Remember that their logic is not the same as humans, so comprehending your commands may take longer for them. Do you remember or perhaps familiar with the theory of classical conditioning by Ivan Pavlov? He used a dog for his experiment wherein salivation can trigger with a sound of a bell.

You could use behaviorism in shaping their behavior. Use some reinforcements and punishment. If that animal gets the correct response to behavior, you can give some rewards but not a continuous one. If not, you can make some minor punishment like removing something that they like.

So are you planning to raise some dogs now? It can really be worth it to have them especially if they are trained one. When life becomes lonely and boring, these special animals can turn your life into a livelier one again.
